i-Theses and Trimble join forces to simplify BIM to fabrication workflows in precast industry

i-Theses, a developer of specialized software solutions for precast concrete manufacturers and Trimble, a developer of structural building information modelling (BIM) software Tekla Structures, have signed a strategic partnership agreement. Commitment for joint development will enable seamless data flow between their solutions and more streamlined precast design, detailing and production workflows for their customers.
As leading software providers for precast concrete producers, Trimble and i-Theses drive more productive ways for industry to work. With the purpose built software like Tekla Structures and i-Theses PrecastOffice, precast detailers and manufacturers can reduce manual work and human errors, improve efficiency and streamline their processes.
As a result of strategic partnership agreement, companies join forces to make the data transfer between their software as smooth as possible and to further develop the solutions to even better enable the precast industry to adapt digital tools to improve productivity, quality and sustainability. In a first phase this means integration of Trimble’s Tekla Structures and production planning solutions in i-Theses’s FloorOffice software suite for precast flooring industry.
i-Theses has been developing solutions for the prefab flooring industry for many years. In Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK and Ireland, i-Theses has acquired a market-leading position with FloorOffice. "Through this strategic collaboration with Trimble, FloorOffice applications from i-Theses can be deployed worldwide and Tekla Structures users can seamlessly exchange data with FloorOffice Production Planners. In this way the workflow from design to manufacturing and erecting on site is covered. " explains Rony Verlee, CEO Sales for i-Theses.
